Do not expose your jewellery to perfume, lotions, or any other chemicals. This will damage the finish.

How can I take care of my GUESS jewelry?

To clean jewellery, wipe gently with a damp cloth that is soft and clean. Dry with a soft, clean, absorbent cloth. Leave the piece of jewellery on a towel for an extended period of time to ensure it is completely dry. Do not use hot water or soak in water. Do not expose to soaps, detergents, cleaning agents or any other chemicals; including perfumes and hairspray.

      What does Gc stand for?

Gc watches are iconic premium European timepieces of exceptional quality and style, combining the very best in Swiss precision and French style, to be worn as bold personal style statements. With 25 years of watchmaking, Gc expresses elevated, detailed and sophisticated aesthetics through its timepieces. All Gc watches are made in France.

How does Gc relate to GUESS?

Gc was founded in 1997 by Paul Marciano, creator of the GUESS empire, in a desire to offer a high end prestige watch offering that would stand as a brand on its own within the GUESS Inc. family; offering high quality materials and standing out from the competition by its unique positioning of Swiss precision combined with fashion, with its striking design and innovative combination of colours and materials.

What materials are used in my Gc timepiece?

All Gc timepieces use Swiss precision movements. Gc is proud to use only high-quality materials such as non-allergenic 316L steel, high-tech ceramic, scratch resilient sapphire-coated mineral glass, high-grade PVD coating, real mother-of-pearl, genuine leather straps and European crystals.

      Are Gc watches water resistant?

All Gc watches are at least 50m water resistant and most 100m. Water resistance is heightened by the use of a screw down crown.

      • 5atm/50m/165 ft. – Rain, shower (not power shower)

      • 10atm/100m/330ft. – Rain, shower, swimming, sailing, shallow diving

      • 20atm/200m/330ft. – Rain, shower, swimming, sailing, diving

How long is the battery life of quartz watches?

Quartz movements are powered by a battery, whose life is between 12-18 months. Batteries should only be changed by an accredited Gc Agent so as to guarantee water resistance.

How should I care for my Gc watch?

Avoid extreme changes in force or temperature to ensure long life accuracy of quartz timepieces

      • To retain water resistance, make sure that the crown has been pushed in and screwed down tightly and do not activate the time-setting crown and/or the pushers while the watch is under water

      • Do not clean your timepiece with anything other than clean water and never use chemical products.

      What does my guarantee cover?

Your guarantee covers any production faults in the watch over 2 years after date of purchase but does not cover regular wear and tear (scratches/battery use) or damage resulting from incorrect use. Always have your watch checked, serviced and repaired by a Gc Agent to maintain your guarantee.
